Vehicle Position Mark is not Updated: Procedure

  1. CHECK MAP DISC 
    1. Check that the map disc is not deformed or cracked.

      OK

      No deformations or cracks on the map disc

    NG → REPLACE MAP DISC 

    OK: Go to next step 

  2. CHECK NAVIGATION DISPLAY 
    1. Check if touch scrolling can be performed on the map display.

      OK

      Touch scrolling can be performed.

    NG → See step   3 

    OK: Go to next step 

  3. PROCEED TO NEXT SUSPECTED AREA SHOWN IN PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE. Refer to  PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE 
  4. CHECK VEHICLE SENSOR (OPERATION CHECK) 
    1. Enter the "Vehicle Sensors" screen. Refer to Check GPS & Vehicle Sensors in Operation Check (Check GPS & Vehicle Sensors), refer to OPERATION CHECK .

    2. While driving the vehicle, compare the "Speed" indicator to the reading on the speedometer. Check if these readings are almost equal.

      OK

      The readings are almost equal.

    NG → See step   5 

    OK → See step   6 

  5. CHECK DTC OUTPUT. Refer to  DTC CHECK / CLEAR 
  6. PROCEED TO NEXT SUSPECTED AREA SHOWN IN PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE. Refer to  PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE
