Mute Signal Circuit between Stereo Component Tuner Assembly and Television Display Assembly: Procedure
- INSPECT TELEVISION DISPLAY ASSEMBLY
- Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard Voltage
Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition Q13-26 (LMUT) - Body ground Ignition switch ACC, RSE system playing → Changing modes Above 3.5 V → Below 1 V TEXT IN ILLUSTRATION*a Component with harness connected

- Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.
- CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (STEREO COMPONENT TUNER- TELEVISION DISPLAY ASSEMBLY)
- Disconnect the E29 stereo component tuner assembly connector.
- Disconnect the Q13 television display assembly connector.
- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard Resistance
Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition E29-15 (MUT2) - Q13-26 (LMUT) Always Below 1 Ω E29-15 (MUT2) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
NG → REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR
OK: Go to next step
- REPLACE TELEVISION DISPLAY ASSEMBLY
- Replace the television display assembly and check if it operates normally, refer to REMOVAL

The navigation system operates normally.
