DTC U0230: Lost Communication with Rear Gate Module: Description

DTC Code DTC Detection Condition Trouble Area
U0230 There is no communication from the power back door ECU.
  • Power source or inside of back door motor unit (power back door ECU)
  • Back door motor unit (power back door ECU) CAN branch wire or connector
  • Back door motor unit (power back door ECU)

For vehicles with the power back door system only.
