ECU Power Source Circuit: Procedure

  1. CHECK INSTRUMENT PANEL JUNCTION BLOCK (MAIN BODY ECU (POWER SOURCE) 
    1. Disconnect the 1D junction block connector.

    2. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard voltage

      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      1D-16 - Body ground Always 11 to 14 V

    NG → REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR 

    OK: Go to next step 

  2. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (INSTRUMENT PANEL JUNCTION BLOCK - BODY GROUND) 
    1. Disconnect the 1F and 1M junction block connectors.

    2. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard resistance

      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      1F-10 - Body ground Always Below 1 Ω
      1M-9 - Body ground Always Below 1 Ω

    NG → REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR 

    OK → See step   3 

  3. PROCEED TO NEXT CIRCUIT INSPECTION SHOWN IN PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE. Refer to  PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE
