DTC P0A10-592: DC / DC Converter Status Circuit High Input: Procedure
- CHECK HYBRID VEHICLE CONTROL ECU
- Connect an oscilloscope between the battery pack wire terminals specified in the table below, and measure the waveform.

Perform this inspection with the battery pack wire connected.
OK → See step 5
NG: Go to next step
- Connect an oscilloscope between the battery pack wire terminals specified in the table below, and measure the waveform.
- CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (HYBRID VEHICLE CONTROL ECU - BATTERY PACK WIRE CONNECTOR)
- Disconnect the battery pack wire connector.
- Turn the power switch on (IG).
- Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

Standard voltage
Tester Connection Specified Condition VLO (On1-7) - Body ground Below 1 V NOTE:Turning the power switch on (IG) with the hybrid vehicle control ECU connector disconnected causes other DTCs to be stored. Clear the DTCs after performing this inspection.
NG → See step 4
OK: Go to next step
- CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (HYBRID VEHICLE CONVERTER - BATTERY PACK WIRE CONNECTOR)
- Turn the power switch off.WARNING:
Be sure to wear insulated gloves.
- Turn the power switch off and remove the service plug grip.

NOTE:After removing the service plug grip, do not turn the power switch on (READY), unless instructed by the repair information because this may cause a malfunction.
- Disconnect the n4 hybrid vehicle converter (DC/DC converter) connector.
- Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

- Turn the power switch off.
- CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (HYBRID VEHICLE CONTROL ECU - BATTERY PACK WIRE CONNECTOR)
- Disconnect the A61 hybrid vehicle control ECU connector.
- Turn the power switch on (IG).
- Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

- CLEAR DTC
- Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
- Turn the power switch on (IG).
- Read and record the DTCs and freeze frame data.
- Select the following menu items: Powertrain / Hybrid Control / Trouble Codes.
- Clear DTCs and freeze frame data.
NEXT: Go to next step
- RECONFIRM DTC OUTPUT (HV)
- Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
- Turn the power switch on (IG).
- Select the following menu items: Powertrain / Hybrid Control / Trouble Codes.
- Read output DTCs.
Result
DTC P0A10-592 is output.
YES → See step 8
NO: Go to next step
- CHECK FOR INTERMITTENT PROBLEMS
- Check for intermittent problems. Refer to CHECK FOR INTERMITTENT PROBLEMS .
NG → REPAIR OR REPLACE MALFUNCTIONING PARTS, COMPONENT AND AREA

- REPLACE HYBRID VEHICLE CONTROL ECU. Refer to REMOVAL
