DTC P3232-749: Short to GND in Blocking of HV Gate Connection: Procedure

- CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (HV CONTROL ECU - INVERTER WITH CONVERTER ASSEMBLY) WARNING:
Be sure to wear insulated gloves.
- Turn the power switch off and remove the service plug grip. Refer to PRECAUTION

NOTE:After removing the service plug grip, do not turn the power switch on (READY), unless instructed by the repair information because this may cause a malfunction.
- Disconnect the A61 hybrid vehicle control ECU connector.
- Disconnect the A62 inverter with converter assembly connector.
- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard resistance
Tester Connection Specified Condition HSDN (A61-76) or HSDN (A62-12) - Body ground and other terminals 10 kΩ or more
NG → REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR
OK: Go to next step
- Turn the power switch off and remove the service plug grip. Refer to PRECAUTION

- CHECK INVERTER WITH CONVERTER ASSEMBLY
- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

Standard resistance
Tester Connection Specified Condition HSDN (A62-12) - Body ground 2.65 to 3.55 kΩ
NG → See step 4
OK → See step 3
- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
- REPLACE HYBRID VEHICLE CONTROL ECU. Refer to REMOVAL
- REPLACE INVERTER WITH CONVERTER ASSEMBLY. Refer to REMOVAL
