DTC P2511-149: ECM/PCM Power Relay Sense Circuit Intermittent: Procedure

- CHECK BATTERY TERMINAL
- Check the connection of the auxiliary battery terminal.
Result
The terminal is connected securely and there is no contact problem.
NG → CONNECT SECURELY
OK: Go to next step
- Check the connection of the auxiliary battery terminal.
- CHECK CONNECTOR CONNECTION CONDITION (HYBRID VEHICLE CONTROL ECU CONNECTOR). Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 3
NG → CONNECT SECURELY
OK: Go to next step
- CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (HYBRID VEHICLE CONTROL ECU - INTEGRATION RELAY)
- Remove the IGCT relay from the engine room R/B.
- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard resistance
Tester Connection Specified Condition +B1 (A61-2) - Engine room R/B IGCT relay terminal 5 Below 1 Ω +B2 (A61-1) - Engine room R/B IGCT relay terminal 5 Below 1 Ω
NG → REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR
OK: Go to next step
- CHECK FOR INTERMITTENT PROBLEMS
- Check for intermittent problems. Refer to CHECK FOR INTERMITTENT PROBLEMS
- Check the connection and terminal contact pressure of connectors and wire harness between the hybrid vehicle control ECU and the engine room R/B.
- When the power switch is on (READY), jiggle the connectors and wire harness between the hybrid vehicle control ECU and the engine room R/B.
NG → REPAIR MALFUNCTIONING PARTS, COMPONENT AND AREA
OK → See step 5
- Check for intermittent problems. Refer to CHECK FOR INTERMITTENT PROBLEMS
- REPLACE HYBRID VEHICLE CONTROL ECU. Refer to REMOVAL
