DTC P0A94-587: DC / DC Converter Performance: Procedure
- CHECK DTC OUTPUT (HV)
- Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
- Turn the power switch on (IG).
- Select the following menu items: Powertrain / Hybrid Control / Trouble Codes.
- Check if DTCs are output.

Output DTC Proceed to DTCs P0A94-587 and P0A1F-129 (HV battery voltage circuit malfunction) A DTCs P0A94-587 and P0A94-442 (Abnormal voltage execution value) B DTCs P0A94-587 and P0A94-585 (Boost converter voltage (VL) sensor performance problem) C DTC P0A94-587 only, or DTC P0A94-587 and DTCs other than above D

- CLEAR DTC
- Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
- Turn the power switch on (IG).
- Read and record the DTCs and freeze frame data.
- Select the following menu items: Powertrain / Hybrid Control / Trouble Codes.
- Clear DTCs and freeze frame data.
NEXT: Go to next step
- CHECK DTC OUTPUT (HV)
- Turn the power switch on (READY) and move the shift lever to the N position. (*1)
- Turn the A/C switch to the MAX COOL position. (*2)
- Select the following menu items: Powertrain / Hybrid Control / Data List / Power Resource IB.
- Confirm that "Power Resource IB" is more than 3 A. (*3)
- Leave the vehicle in the condition specified in steps (*2) and (*3) above for 15 seconds. (*4)NOTE:
If the low battery charge warning light comes on, move the shift lever to the P position and start the engine to charge the HV battery. After the engine stops, perform steps (*1) through (*5) again.
- Select the following menu items: Powertrain / Hybrid Control / Trouble Codes.
- Check if DTCs are output. (*5)

- Perform a road test that repeats full acceleration to 60 km/h (37.3 mph) and then full braking to a complete stop several times. (*7)

- Check if DTCs are output. (*9)

- READ VALUE USING TECHSTREAM
- Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
- Turn the power switch on (READY).
- Select the following menu items: Powertrain / Hybrid Control / Data List / Power Resource VB, VL-Voltage before Boosting, VH-Voltage after Boosting.
- Read the data list when the shift lever is in the N position (the engine is off) and the vehicle is stationary.
