  1. OPERATION HISTORY DATA 

    HINT: 

    The hybrid vehicle control ECU records inappropriate operations performed by the driver and the number of abnormal conditions that have been input to the ECU as operation history data.

    1. Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
    2. Turn the power switch on (IG) and turn the Techstream on.
    3. Select the following menu items: Powertrain / Hybrid Control / Data List.
    4. Select the menu to view the number of special operations or controls that have been effected.

      HINT: 

      • Latest Operation: Among the past occurrences, the number of special operations or controls that have been effected during the most recent 1 trip detection.
      • Latest Trip: The number of trips after the occurrence of "Latest Operation".
      • Operation before Latest: The number of occurrences during the trip previous to the "Latest Operation".
      • Trip before Latest: The number of trips after the occurrence of "Operation before Latest".
      OPERATION HISTORY DATA:

      Tester Display Count Condition
      Shift gear before READY Shift lever moved with READY light blinking
      N range control in half shift Shift position cannot be determined
      N range control by busy shift N position control effected due to frequent shifting operation
      Step accelerator in N range Accelerator pedal depressed in N position
      Auxiliary battery low Auxiliary battery voltage below 9.5 V
      HV ECU Intermittent problems Instantaneous open circuit at IGSW terminal of hybrid vehicle control ECU
      MG2 temperature high Motor temperature rose above 168°C (334°F)
      MG1 temperature high Generator temperature rose above 168°C (334°F)
      MG2 (motor) Inverter temperature high Motor inverter temperature rose above 120°C (248°F)
      MG1 (generator) Inverter temperature high Generator inverter temperature rose above 120°C (248°F)
      Main battery low voltage Battery state of charge dropped below 30%
      Resister over heat System main resistor overheated
      Coolant heating Inverter coolant forecast temperature rose above 65°C (149°F)
      Converter heating Boost converter temperature rose above 120°C (248°F)
      Shift P in running Shifted to P while moving
      Shift backward direction Shifted to R while moving forward or shifted to D or B while moving in reverse
      Prevention control of staying Engine speed stays in resonance frequency band
      Accelerator and brake depress Both accelerator and brake pedals depressed
