  1. CHECK DTC OUTPUT (ENGINE CONTROL SYSTEM) 
    1. Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
    2. Turn the power switch on (IG).
    3. Select the following menu items: Powertrain / Engine Control / Trouble Codes.
    4. Read output DTC.

      OK

      DTCs are output.

    YES → GO TO  DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE CHART  DTC CHART 

    NO → See step   2 

  2. REPLACE HYBRID VEHICLE CONTROL ECU. Refer to  REMOVAL
