Installation (To 12/2010): Installation

  1. INSTALL TIRE PRESSURE WARNING ECU 
    1. Install the tire pressure warning ECU with the screw.

    2. Connect the connector to the tire pressure warning ECU.

  2. INSTALL INSTRUMENT PANEL FINISH PANEL LOWER RH 
  3. INSTALL INSTRUMENT PANEL UNDER COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY NO. 2 
  4. INSTALL FRONT DOOR SCUFF PLATE RH 
  5. INSTALL COWL SIDE TRIM SUB-ASSEMBLY RH 
  6. CONNECT CABLE TO BATTERY NEGATIVE TERMINAL 
    NOTE:

    When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected. Refer to INITIALIZATION .

  7. REGISTER TRANSMITTER ID

    Refer to REGISTRATION

  8. INSPECT TIRE PRESSURE WARNING SYSTEM 

    HINT: 

    Refer to TEST MODE PROCEDURE

  9. INITIALIZE SYSTEM 
    NOTE:
    • Be sure to register the transmitter IDs of all tires including the grand spare tire in the ECU before initialization.
    • Be sure to inflate all tires including the grand spare tire to the proper inflation pressure before initialization.
