Disassembly (To 12/2010): Disassembly

  1. REMOVE NO. 1 INSTRUMENT PANEL PIN 
    1. Remove the 2 screws <E> and 2 No. 1 instrument panel pins.

  2. REMOVE NO. 1 HEATER TO REGISTER DUCT 
    1. Remove the 3 screws <E> and No. 1 heater to register duct.

  3. REMOVE NO. 3 HEATER TO REGISTER DUCT 
    1. Disengage the clamp.

    2. Remove the 3 screws <E> and No. 3 heater to register duct.
  4. REMOVE NO. 1 SIDE DEFROSTER NOZZLE DUCT 
    1. Remove the screw <E> and No. 1 side defroster nozzle duct.

  5. REMOVE NO. 2 SIDE DEFROSTER NOZZLE DUCT 
    1. Remove the screw <E> and No. 2 side defroster nozzle duct.

  6. REMOVE DEFROSTER NOZZLE ASSEMBLY 
    1. Remove the 3 screws <E> and defroster nozzle assembly.

  7. REMOVE NO. 2 HEATER TO REGISTER DUCT 
    1. Remove the 4 screws <E> and No. 2 heater register duct.

  8. REMOVE SIDE DEFROSTER NOZZLE LH 
    1. Disengage the 6 claws and remove the side defroster nozzle LH.

  9. REMOVE SIDE DEFROSTER NOZZLE RH 
    1. Disengage the 6 claws and remove the side defroster nozzle RH.

  10. REMOVE CENTER INSTRUMENT PANEL BRACKET SUB-ASSEMBLY 
    1. Remover the 2 screws <E> and center instrument panel bracket sub-assembly.

  11. REMOVE FRONT PASSENGER AIRBAG ASSEMBLY  . Refer to REMOVAL - Step 8
  12. REMOVE GLOVE BOX LIGHT ASSEMBLY 
    1. Disengage the 2 claws and remove the glove box light assembly.

  13. REMOVE NO. 3 INSTRUMENT PANEL WIRE 
    1. Disconnect the connector.

    2. Disengage each clamp and remove the No. 3 instrument panel wire.
  14. REMOVE ANTENNA CORD SUB-ASSEMBLY  . Refer to REMOVAL - Step 2
  15. REMOVE NAVIGATION ANTENNA ASSEMBLY (w/ Navigation System)  . Refer to REMOVAL - Step 7
  16. REMOVE AUTOMATIC LIGHT CONTROL SENSOR 
    1. Disengage the 2 claws and remove the automatic light control sensor as shown in the illustration.

      NOTE:

      Do not pry the automatic light control sensor out through the top.
