Clock Display Circuit (FROM 12/2010): Procedure
- CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (CLOCK ASSEMBLY CIRCUIT)
- Remove the clock assembly.
- Disconnect the F2 connector.
- Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard Voltage
Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition F2-1 (B) - Body ground Always 11 to 14 V F2-4 (ACC) - Body ground Ignition switch off Below 1 V F2-4 (ACC) - Body ground Ignition switch on (ACC) 11 to 14 V - Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard Resistance
Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition F2-2 (E) - Body ground Always Below 1 Ω
NG → REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR
OK: Go to next step
- CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (BODY ECU - CLOCK ASSEMBLY)
- Disconnect the F2 and D6 connectors.
- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard Resistance
Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition F2-3 (ILL+) - D6-16 (ACAN) Always Below 1 Ω D6-16 (ACAN) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
NG → REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR
OK: Go to next step
- INSPECT BODY ECU
- Reconnect the D6 connector.
- Disconnect the F2 connector.
- Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard Voltage
Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition F2-3 (ILL+) - Body ground Ignition switch on (ACC) and light control switch tail or head 11 to 14 V
NG → REPLACE CLOCK ASSEMBLY
OK → REPLACE BODY ECU
