Clock Display Circuit (FROM 12/2010): Procedure

  1. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (CLOCK ASSEMBLY CIRCUIT) 
    1. Remove the clock assembly.

    2. Disconnect the F2 connector.
    3. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Voltage

      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      F2-1 (B) - Body ground Always 11 to 14 V
      F2-4 (ACC) - Body ground Ignition switch off Below 1 V
      F2-4 (ACC) - Body ground Ignition switch on (ACC) 11 to 14 V
    4. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance

      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      F2-2 (E) - Body ground Always Below 1 Ω

    NG → REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR 

    OK: Go to next step 

  2. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (BODY ECU - CLOCK ASSEMBLY) 
    1. Disconnect the F2 and D6 connectors.
    2. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance

      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      F2-3 (ILL+) - D6-16 (ACAN) Always Below 1 Ω
      D6-16 (ACAN) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher

    NG → REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR 

    OK: Go to next step 

  3. INSPECT BODY ECU 
    1. Reconnect the D6 connector.

    2. Disconnect the F2 connector.
    3. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Voltage

      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      F2-3 (ILL+) - Body ground Ignition switch on (ACC) and light control switch tail or head 11 to 14 V

    NG → REPLACE CLOCK ASSEMBLY 

    OK → REPLACE BODY ECU
