DTC P2111: Throttle Actuator Control System - Stuck Open; DTC P2112: Throttle Actuator Control System - Stuck Closed: Procedure

- INSPECT THROTTLE BODY ASSEMBLY (VISUALLY CHECK THROTTLE VALVE)
- Check for contamination such as carbon between the throttle valve and the housing. If necessary, clean the throttle body. After cleaning check that the throttle valve moves smoothly.

Throttle valve is not contaminated with foreign objects and moves smoothly.

OK: Go to next step
- Check for contamination such as carbon between the throttle valve and the housing. If necessary, clean the throttle body. After cleaning check that the throttle valve moves smoothly.
- CHECK WHETHER DTC OUTPUT RECURS (DTC P2111 OR P2112)
- Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
- Turn the ignition switch to ON.
- Turn the Techstream on.
- Clear DTCs. Refer to DTC CHECK / CLEAR .
- Start the engine, and fully depress and release the accelerator pedal quickly (to fully open and close the throttle valve).
- Enter the following menus: Powertrain / Engine and ECT / Trouble Codes.
- Read the DTCs.
