CLUTCH RELEASE CYLINDER (for E351): Installation: Installation

INSTALL CLUTCH RELEASE CYLINDER ASSEMBLY
1. Install the clutch release cylinder with the 2 bolts.

  Torque: 12 N*m (120 kgf*cm, 9 ft.*lbf)
CONNECT CLUTCH ACCUMULATOR ASSEMBLY
1. Connect the accumulator assembly and clutch tube bracket with the bolt and 2 nuts.
  Nut
  
  Torque: 12 N*m (120 kgf*cm, 9 ft.*lbf)
  
  Bolt
  
  Torque: 8.0 N*m (80 kgf*cm, 69 in.*lbf)

CONNECT CLUTCH LINE
1. Using a union nut wrench (10 mm), connect the clutch line.

  without a union nut wrench
  
  Torque: 15 N*m (155 kgf*cm, 11 ft.*lbf)
  
  with a union nut wrench
  
  Torque: 14 N*m (143 kgf*cm, 10 ft.*lbf)
  NOTE:
  - Use a torque wrench with a fulcrum length of 250 mm (9.84 in.).
  - This torque value is effective when the union nut wrench is parallel to the torque wrench.
INSTALL CLUTCH ACCUMULATOR BRACKET See step 3
INSTALL RELEASE CYLINDER HEAT INSULATOR See step 4
FILL BRAKE FLUID RESERVOIR . Refer to REPLACEMENT - Step 2
BLEED CLUTCH LINE . Refer to BLEEDING - Step 2
INSPECT FLUID LEVEL . Refer to ON-VEHICLE INSPECTION - Step 1
INSPECT FOR FLUID LEAK

Check for leaks in the clutch system.
