Combination Meter: Removal: Removal

  1. REMOVE CENTER INSTRUMENT CLUSTER FINISH PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY  . Refer to REMOVAL - Step 8
  2. REMOVE INSTRUMENT CLUSTER FINISH PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY  . Refer to REMOVAL - Step 9
  3. REMOVE METER HOOD SUB-ASSEMBLY 
    1. Operate the tilt lever to lower the steering wheel assembly.
    2. Apply protective tape to the area shown in the illustration.

    3. Disengage the 7 claws and remove the meter hood sub-assembly.

  4. REMOVE COMBINATION METER ASSEMBLY 
    1. Remove the 3 screws.

    2. Pull the combination meter assembly, disconnect the connector, and remove the combination meter assembly.

      NOTE:

      When removing the combination meter assembly, do not damage the upper instrument panel sub-assembly and combination meter assembly.
