Fuel Sender Gauge Assembly: Removal: Removal

DISCHARGE FUEL SYSTEM PRESSURE See step 3
DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
REMOVE FUEL SUCTION TUBE ASSEMBLY WITH PUMP AND GAUGE
1. Remove the fuel suction tube assembly with pump and gauge from the fuel tank. Refer to REMOVAL .
REMOVE FUEL SENDER GAUGE ASSEMBLY
1. Disconnect the fuel sender gauge connector.

  NOTE:
  Do not damage the wire harness.
2. Release the lock and slide the fuel sender gauge assembly to remove it.
  NOTE:
  Make sure that the fuel sender gauge arm does not bend.
