INSPECT COMPRESSOR FOR METALLIC SOUND
1. Check if there is abnormal metallic sound from the compressor when the A/C switch is on and the compressor operates.
  If abnormal metallic sound is heard, replace the compressor and pulley.
INSPECT REFRIGERANT PRESSURE
1. Inspect the refrigerant pressure (See REFRIGERANT ).
INSPECT FOR LEAKAGE OF REFRIGERANT
1. Using a gas leak detector, check for leakage of refrigerant.
  If there is any leakage, replace the compressor and pulley.
INSPECT COMPRESSOR AND PULLEY
1. Check operation of compressor and pulley.
  1. Start the engine.
  2. Inspect the compressor pulley.

  Standard:
  
  The compressor shaft rotates along with the pulley .
  
  If the result is not as specified, replace the compressor and pulley.
