Section 10 (Engine Cooling System (2ZR-FE)): Thermostat: Installation

INSTALL THERMOSTAT
1. Install a new gasket on the thermostat.
2. Install the thermostat to the water inlet with the jiggle valve upward.
  HINT:
  
  The jiggle valve may be set to within 10° on either side of the indicated position.

INSTALL WATER INLET
1. Install the water inlet with the 2 nuts.
  Torque: 10 N*m (102 kgf*cm, 7 ft.*lbf)
ADD ENGINE COOLANT (See REPLACEMENT )
INSPECT FOR COOLANT LEAK (See ON-VEHICLE INSPECTION )
