Propeller Shaft Assembly: Removal

  1. REMOVE TRANSFER HEAT INSULATOR 
    1. Remove the 4 bolts and insulator.

  2. REMOVE REAR PROPELLER SHAFT ASSEMBLY 
    1. for Transfer Side:
      1. Place matchmarks on the propeller shaft flange and transfer flange.
      2. Remove the 4 nuts and 4 washers.

    2. for Differential Side:
      1. Place matchmarks on the propeller shaft flange and rear differential flange.
      2. Remove the 4 nuts, 4 bolts and 4 washers.
    3. Remove the rear propeller shaft.
