Hydraulic Brake Booster: Inspection

  1. INSPECT BRAKE BOOSTER PUMP ASSEMBLY 
    1. Apply battery voltage to the brake booster pump cables, and check the operation of the pump motor.

      OK 

      MEASUREMENT AND SPECIFIED CONDITION CHART

      Measurement Condition Specified Condition
      Battery positive (+) voltage → Red cable terminal Pump motor operates
      Battery negative (-) voltage → Black cable terminal

      If the result is not as specified, replace the brake booster pump assembly.
