Inspection Procedure

1. Check for DTCs (See CAN COMMUNICATION SYSTEM ).

B: Go to CAN COMMUNICATION SYSTEM  (See CAN COMMUNICATION SYSTEM )

C: Go to LIGHTING SYSTEM  (See LIGHTING SYSTEM )

A: Go to next step. 

1. Operate the Techstream according to the display and select Active Test.

   Main Body

   OK: Meter illumination is dimmed when the dimmer switch is ON. 

   HINT:

   Refer to the sensitivity setting in the customization table of the automatic light control system (See CUSTOMIZE PARAMETERS ).

NG: Go to step 3 

OK: CHECK LIGHTING SETTING  (See LIGHTING SYSTEM )

1. Temporarily replace the combination meter with a new one (See REMOVAL  ).

1. Check that the operation of the combination meter returns to normal (See OPERATION CHECK  ).

   OK: Operation of combination meter returns to normal. 

NG: REPLACE MAIN BODY ECU (COWL SIDE JUNCTION BLOCK LH) 

OK: END (COMBINATION METER IS DEFECTIVE)
