Rear Shock Absorber: Disposal

  1. DISPOSE OF REAR SHOCK ABSORBER (for 2WD) 
    1. Fully extend the shock absorber piston rod.
    2. Using a drill, make a hole in area B shown in the illustration to discharge the gas inside.

      Length (A): 

      25 mm (0.98 in.) 

      Length (B): 

      25 mm (0.98 in.)

    CAUTION:
    • Be careful when drilling because shards of metal may fly about. Always use proper safety equipment.
    • The gas is colorless, odorless and non-poisonous.
  2. DISPOSE OF REAR SHOCK ABSORBER (for 4WD) 
    1. Fully extend the shock absorber piston rod.
    2. Using a drill, make a hole in area B shown in the illustration to discharge the gas inside.

      Length (A): 

      25 mm (0.98 in.) 

      Length (B): 

      25 mm (0.98 in.) 

      CAUTION:
