FRONT STABILIZER BAR (for 1AR-FE): Removal

  1. REMOVE POWER STEERING LINK ASSEMBLY 

    HINT:

    Refer to the procedure up to Remove Power Steering Link Assembly (See REMOVAL ).

  2. REMOVE FRONT STABILIZER LINK ASSEMBLY LH 
    1. Remove the 2 nuts and the front stabilizer link assembly LH.

      HINT:

      If the ball joint turns together with the nut, use a hexagon wrench (6 mm) to hold the stud bolt.

  3. REMOVE FRONT STABILIZER LINK ASSEMBLY RH 

    HINT:

    Perform the same procedure as the LH side.

  4. REMOVE FRONT STABILIZER BAR 
    1. Remove the front stabilizer bar by removing it from the left side of the vehicle.

  5. REMOVE NO. 2 FRONT STABILIZER BRACKET LH 
    1. Remove the No. 2 front stabilizer bracket LH from the front stabilizer bar bushing.
  6. REMOVE NO. 2 FRONT STABILIZER BRACKET RH 

    HINT:

    Perform the same procedure as the LH side.

  7. REMOVE NO. 1 FRONT STABILIZER BAR BUSHING 
    1. Remove the 2 No. 1 front stabilizer bar bushings from the front stabilizer bar.
