Fuel Pressure Pulsation Damper: Installation

INSTALL FUEL PRESSURE PULSATION DAMPER ASSEMBLY
1. Apply a light coat of gasoline or spindle oil to a new O-ring.
2. Install the O-ring to the fuel pressure pulsation damper.

3. Install the fuel pressure pulsation damper with the 2 bolts.
  Torque: 10 N*m (102 kgf*cm, 7 ft.*lbf)
  
  NOTE: Make sure that the O-ring is not cracked or jammed when installing the damper.

INSTALL FUEL TUBE SUB-ASSEMBLY
1. Connect the fuel tube.
2. Push the fuel tube connector until it makes a "click" sound.
3. Install the new No. 2 fuel pipe clamp.
4. Install the fuel tube to the fuel hose clamp.

5. Push the tube connector to the pipe until the tube connector makes a "click" sound.
  NOTE:
  - Before connecting the connector and fuel pipe, check that there is no damage or foreign matter on the connecting part of the fuel pipe.
  - After connecting the fuel tube connector and pipe, check that they are securely connected by trying to pull them apart.
6. Install the No. 1 fuel pipe clamp.

INSTALL AIR CLEANER CAP SUB-ASSEMBLY (See INSTALLATION )
INSTALL NO. 1 ENGINE COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY (See INSTALLATION )
CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
NOTE: When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected (See INITIALIZATION ).
INSPECT FOR FUEL LEAK (See ON-VEHICLE INSPECTION )
