Rear Console Box: Disassembly

  1. REMOVE BOX BOTTOM MAT 
    1. Remove the box bottom mat.

  2. REMOVE CONSOLE COMPARTMENT DOOR CUSHION 
    1. for Console Compartment Door:
      1. Remove the 2 console compartment door cushions from the console compartment door.

    2. for Rear Console Box Assembly:
      1. Remove the 2 console compartment door cushions from the rear console box assembly.

  3. REMOVE CONSOLE COMPARTMENT BOX ASSEMBLY (w/o Rear Air Conditioning System) 
    1. Remove the 14 screws and the console compartment box assembly.

  4. REMOVE CONSOLE COMPARTMENT BOX ASSEMBLY (w/ Rear Air Conditioning System) 
    1. Remove the 14 screws.
    2. Disengage the clamp and remove the console compartment box assembly.

  5. REMOVE REAR CONSOLE BOX WIRE (w/ Rear Air Conditioning System) 
    1. Disengage the 2 clamps and remove the rear console box wire.

  6. REMOVE CONSOLE REAR END PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY (w/o Rear Air Conditioning System) 
    1. Disengage the 6 clips and remove the console rear end panel sub-assembly.

  7. REMOVE CONSOLE REAR END PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY (w/ Rear Air Conditioning System) 
    1. Disengage the 6 clips and remove the console rear end panel sub-assembly.
  8. REMOVE REAR AIR CONDITIONING CONTROL ASSEMBLY (for Manual Air Conditioning System)  (See REAR AIR CONDITIONING PANEL )
  9. REMOVE REAR AIR CONDITIONING CONTROL ASSEMBLY (for Automatic Air Conditioning System)  (See INSTALLATION )

  10. REMOVE CONSOLE COMPARTMENT DOOR SUB-ASSEMBLY 
    1. Remove the 4 screws and the console compartment door sub-assembly.

  11. REMOVE CONSOLE COMPARTMENT DOOR LOCK SUB-ASSEMBLY 
    1. Remove the 2 screws and the console compartment door lock sub-assembly.

  12. REMOVE CONSOLE COMPARTMENT DOOR HINGE SUB-ASSEMBLY 
    1. Remove the 4 screws.
    2. Disengage the 3 claws and remove the outer console compartment door.

    3. Remove the 4 screws and console compartment door hinge sub-assembly.

  13. REMOVE REAR CONSOLE BOX CUP HOLDER 
    1. Remove the 3 screws.

    2. Remove the console box cup holder from the console rear end panel as shown in the illustration.

  14. REMOVE CONSOLE BOX REGISTER ASSEMBLY (w/ o Rear Air Conditioning System) 
    1. Using a screwdriver, disengage the 8 claws and remove the console box register assembly from the console rear end panel as shown in the illustration.

      HINT:

      Tape the screwdriver tip before use.
