Side Mudguard: Removal

HINT:

When removing the side mudguard, heat the vehicle body and side mudguard using a heat light.

Heating temperature 

1. REMOVE FRONT FENDER MOULDING SUB-ASSEMBLY 
   1. Remove the clip.
   2. Using a 4 mm hexagon wrench, remove the screw.

   3. Peel off the front fender side protector and disengage the 3 clips, and then remove the front fender moulding sub-assembly.
   4. Remove the pad from the front fender moulding sub-assembly.
   5. Remove the 2 No. 4 clips from the front fender moulding sub-assembly.

   6. Remove the front fender side protector from the front fender moulding sub-assembly.

2. REMOVE FRONT FENDER OUTSIDE MOULDING PAD 
   1. Remove the front fender outside moulding pad from the front fender moulding sub-assembly.

3. REMOVE FRONT DOOR OUTSIDE MOULDING SUB-ASSEMBLY 
   1. Turn back the front door weatherstrip.
   2. Remove the nut.

   3. Peel off the upper front door outside moulding pad and disengage the 11 clips, and then remove the front door outside moulding sub-assembly.
   4. Remove the gasket from the front door outside moulding sub-assembly.
   5. Remove the 3 No. 3 clips from the front door outside moulding sub-assembly.
   6. Remove the 8 No. 4 clips from the front door outside moulding sub-assembly.

   7. Remove the upper front door outside moulding pad from the front door outside moulding sub-assembly.

4. REMOVE REAR DOOR OUTSIDE MOULDING SUB-ASSEMBLY 
   1. Turn back the rear door No. 2 weatherstrip.
   2. Remove the nut.

   3. Peel off the upper rear door outside moulding pad and disengage the 8 clips, and then remove the rear door outside moulding sub-assembly.
   4. Remove the gasket from the rear door outside moulding sub-assembly.
   5. Remove the 2 No. 3 clips from the rear door outside moulding sub-assembly.
   6. Remove the 6 No. 4 clips from the rear door outside moulding sub-assembly.

   7. Remove the upper rear door outside moulding pad from the rear door outside moulding sub-assembly.
