Power Back Door Opener/Closer Switch: Inspection

INSPECT POWER BACK DOOR OPENER/CLOSER SWITCH

Measure the resistance of the switch.

Standard resistance

RESISTANCE SPECIFICATION

Tester Connection	Switch Condition	Specified Condition
4-1	Pushed (ON)	Below 1 Ω
4-1	Free (OFF)	10 kΩ or higher

If the result is not as specified, replace the switch.

Check that the switch illuminates.

Standard resistance

RESISTANCE SPECIFICATION

Measurement Condition	Specified Condition
Battery positive (+) → 3 (ILL+) Battery negative (-) → 2 (ILL-)	Illuminates

If the result is not as specified, replace the switch.
