How To Proceed With Troubleshooting
HINT:
- Use the following procedures to troubleshoot the tire pressure warning system.

- CUSTOMER PROBLEM ANALYSIS
- Interview the customer to confirm the trouble.
HINT:
It is important to collect as much specific information as possible from the customer to allow for a quick repair.
- ADJUST TIRE PRESSURE
- Turn the ignition switch off.
- Connect Techstream to the DLC3.
- Turn the ignition switch on (IG) and turn the tester on.
- Enter the following menus: Chassis/Tire Pressure Monitor/Data List.
- Read the "ID Tire Inflation Pressure" values.
- Adjust all tire pressures to the standard values (See TIRE PRESSURE WARNING SYSTEM ).
- Check the DATA LIST (See PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE ).
HINT:
- It takes about 2 or 3 minutes to display the updated tire pressure data.
- If the problem is that the tire pressure decreases, wait until all of the tire pressure data is received by the ECU. If the data is received, the tire pressure warning light will turn off.

- Confirm that the initialization has been completed.
