Ignition Switch: Inspection

INSPECT IGNITION SWITCH

Measure the resistance of the switch.

Standard Resistance

TESTER CONNECTION SPECIFIED CONDITION CHART

Between all terminals	LOCK	10 kΩ or higher
AM1 (E4-2) - ACC (E4-3)	ACC	Below 1 Ω
AM1 (E4-2) - ACC (E4-3) AM1 (E4-2) - IG1 (E4-4) IG2 (E4-6) - AM2 (E4-7)	ON	Below 1 Ω
ST1 (E4-1) - AM1 (E4-2) ST1 (E4-1) - IG1 (E4-4) IG2 (E4-6) - AM2 (E4-7) IG2 (E4-6) - ST2 (E4-8)	START	Below 1 Ω
