Front Seat Outer Belt Assembly With PRETENSIONER: Removal

DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
CAUTION: Wait at least 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal to disable the SRS system (See AIRBAG SYSTEM ).
REMOVE FRONT DOOR SCUFF PLATE (See REMOVAL )
REMOVE REAR DOOR SCUFF PLATE (See REMOVAL )
DISCONNECT FRONT DOOR OPENING TRIM WEATHERSTRIP
DISCONNECT REAR DOOR OPENING TRIM WEATHERSTRIP
REMOVE LAP BELT OUTER ANCHOR COVER (for Driver Side)
1. Disengage the 3 claws and remove the lap belt outer anchor cover.

REMOVE LAP BELT OUTER ANCHOR COVER (for Front Passenger Side)
1. Disengage the 2 claws as shown in the illustration.

2. Disengage the 2 guides and remove the lap belt outer anchor cover.

DISCONNECT FRONT SEAT OUTER BELT ASSEMBLY LH (for Driver Side)
1. Remove the bolt and disconnect the floor end of the front seat outer belt assembly LH.

DISCONNECT FRONT SEAT OUTER BELT ASSEMBLY RH (for Front Passenger Side)
1. Disconnect the connector.
2. Disengage the clamp.
3. Remove the front seat belt anchor base and disconnect the floor end of the front seat outer belt assembly.
REMOVE LOWER CENTER PILLAR GARNISH (See REMOVAL )
REMOVE UPPER CENTER PILLAR GARNISH (See REMOVAL )

REMOVE FRONT SEAT OUTER BELT ASSEMBLY
1. Remove the nut and disconnect the shoulder anchor of the front seat outer belt assembly.

2. Using a screwdriver, pull out the locking button in the direction shown by the arrow to release the lock, and disconnect the pretensioner connector as shown in the illustration.
  HINT:
  
  Tape the screwdriver tip before use.

3. for Front Passenger Side:
  1. Disengage the clamp.

4. Remove the 2 bolts and front seat outer belt assembly.

REMOVE FRONT SHOULDER BELT ANCHOR ADJUSTER ASSEMBLY
1. Remove the 2 bolts and front shoulder belt anchor adjuster assembly.
