How To Proceed With Troubleshooting

HINT:

• Use the following procedures to troubleshoot the air conditioning system.
• *: Use the Techstream.

1. VEHICLE BROUGHT TO WORKSHOP 
2. INSPECT BATTERY VOLTAGE 
   1. Inspect the battery voltage.

   Standard Voltage: 

   11 to 14 V 

   If the voltage is below 11 V, recharge or replace the battery before proceeding.

3. CHECK COMMUNICATION FUNCTION OF CAN COMMUNICATION SYSTEM* 
   1. Use the Techstream to check if the CAN communication system is functioning normally.

   B:  Go to CAN COMMUNICATION SYSTEM

   A: Go to next step 

4. CHECK FOR DTC* 
   1. Check for DTCs and note any codes that are output.

      HINT:

      Refer to DTC Check / Clear (See DIAGNOSIS SYSTEM ).

   2. Clear the DTCs.
   3. Recheck for DTCs. Based on the DTCs output above, try to force the A/C system to output DTCs by simulating the conditions indicated by the DTCs.
