Section 4 (Engine Cooling System (2AZ-FE)): Thermostat: Removal

  1. DRAIN ENGINE COOLANT  (See COOLANT )
  2. DISCONNECT NO. 2 RADIATOR HOSE  (See REMOVAL )
  3. REMOVE WATER INLET 
    1. Remove the 2 nuts and disconnect the water inlet from the cylinder block.
  4. REMOVE THERMOSTAT 
    1. Remove the thermostat and gasket.
