Brake Pedal: Removal

REMOVE UPPER INSTRUMENT PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY
HINT:

Refer to the instructions for Removal of the upper instrument panel sub-assembly (See REMOVAL ).
REMOVE LOWER INSTRUMENT PANEL FINISH PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY (See REMOVAL )
REMOVE BRAKE PEDAL RETURN SPRING
1. Remove the brake pedal return spring from the brake pedal support sub-assembly.
SEPARATE BRAKE MASTER CYLINDER PUSH ROD CLEVIS
1. Remove the clip and clevis pin and separate the brake master cylinder push rod clevis from the brake pedal sub-assembly.
REMOVE STOP LIGHT SWITCH ASSEMBLY (See STOP LIGHT SWITCH )

REMOVE STOP LIGHT SWITCH MOUNTING ADJUSTER
1. Remove the stop light switch mounting adjuster from the brake pedal support sub-assembly.
REMOVE BRAKE PEDAL SUPPORT SUB-ASSEMBLY
1. Remove the bolt and separate the brake pedal support sub-assembly from the instrument panel reinforcement.

2. Disengage the 2 clamps from the brake pedal support sub-assembly.

3. Remove the 4 nuts and brake pedal support sub-assembly.

4. Remove the nut from the brake pedal support sub-assembly.
