Rear Seat Assembly: Removal

  1. REMOVE SPARE WHEEL COVER  (See REMOVAL )
  2. REMOVE REAR SEAT HEADREST ASSEMBLY LH 
  3. REMOVE REAR SEAT HEADREST ASSEMBLY RH 
  4. REMOVE REAR SEAT CENTER HEADREST ASSEMBLY 
  5. REMOVE REAR SEAT CUSHION ASSEMBLY 
    1. Detach the 2 front hooks of the seat cushion from the vehicle body as shown in the illustration.
      NOTE: Follow the instructions below carefully as the cushion frame deforms easily.
      1. Choose a hook to detach first. Place your hands near the hook as shown in the illustration. Then lift the seat cushion to detach the hook.
      2. Repeat the above procedure for the other hook.
    2. Detach the rear hook of the seat cushion from the seatback.
    3. Remove the rear seat cushion assembly.

  6. REMOVE REAR SEATBACK ASSEMBLY LH 
    1. Using a clip remover, remove the 2 rear seat back clips.
    2. Fold the rear seatback assembly LH forward.

    3. Remove the 2 bolts and the rear seatback assembly LH.

  7. REMOVE REAR SEATBACK ASSEMBLY RH 
    1. Using a clip remover, remove the 2 rear seat back clips.
    2. Fold the rear seatback assembly RH forward.

    3. Remove the 2 bolts and the rear seatback assembly RH.
