On-Vehicle Inspection

  1. INSPECT WINDSHIELD WIPER MOTOR ASSEMBLY 
    1. Operate the windshield wiper motor.
    2. Stop the windshield wiper motor operation.
    3. Check the automatic stop position.

      OK: The windshield wipers stop at the positions shown in the illustration. 

      If the result is not as specified, the windshield wiper motor may have a malfunction.

      AREA MEASUREMENT CHART

      Area Measurement
      A 27.5 to 42.5 mm (1.08 to 1.67 in.)
      B 22.5 to 37.5 mm (0.886 to 1.48 in.)
