Luggage Door Hinge Torsion Bar: Removal

REMOVE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT FLOOR MAT
REMOVE SPARE WHEEL COVER CLAMP
REMOVE SPARE WHEEL COVER ASSEMBLY
REMOVE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT SIDE TRAY ASSEMBLY
1. Remove the bolt.
2. Disengage the clip and remove the luggage compartment side tray assembly.

REMOVE NO. 1 LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRIM HOOK
1. Remove the 2 screws and the 2 No. 1 luggage compartment trim hooks.

REMOVE REAR FLOOR FINISH PLATE
1. Disengage the 7 clips and remove the rear floor finish plate.

REMOVE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT INNER TRIM COVER LH
1. Remove the 2 clips and the luggage compartment inner trim cover LH.

REMOVE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT INNER TRIM COVER RH
1. Remove the 2 clips and the luggage compartment inner trim cover RH.

REMOVE LUGGAGE DOOR HINGE TORSION BAR RH
1. Disconnect the luggage door hinge torsion bar RH from the luggage compartment door torsion bar support as shown in the illustration.

2. Using SST, disconnect the luggage door hinge torsion bar RH from the luggage door hinge and the right side of the vehicle body as shown in the illustration.

3. Remove the luggage door hinge torsion bar RH from the left side of the vehicle body as shown in the illustration.

REMOVE LUGGAGE DOOR HINGE TORSION BAR LH
1. Disconnect the luggage door hinge torsion bar LH from the luggage compartment door torsion bar support as shown in the illustration.

2. Using SST, disconnect the luggage door hinge torsion bar LH from the luggage door hinge and the left side of the vehicle body as shown in the illustration.

3. Remove the luggage door hinge torsion bar LH from the right side of the vehicle body as shown in the illustration.
