Steering Pad Switch: Inspection

  1. INSPECT STEERING PAD SWITCH 
    1. Disconnect the steering pad switch connector.

    2. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard resistance 

      RESISTANCE SPECIFICATION

      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      DISP - EAU DISP switch is not pushed in. 10 kΩ or higher
      DISP - EAU DISP switch is pushed in. Below 1 Ω

      HINT:

      • This inspection is needed only for 4 spoke model steering pad switch.
      • If the value is not as specified, replace the steering pad switch.
