Front Brake Pad, Brake Caliper & Brake Rotor: Installation

  1. INSTALL DISC BRAKE CYLINDER ASSEMBLY 
    1. Install the disc brake cylinder assembly with the 2 bolts.

      Torque: 34 N*m (350 kgf*cm, 25 ft.*lbf) 

      NOTE: Be sure that the anti-squeal springs are installed to the front disc brake pads.

    2. Connect the flexible hose with the union bolt and a new gasket.

      Torque: 29 N*m (300 kgf*cm, 21 ft.*lbf) 

      NOTE: Install the front brake flexible hose lock securely in the lock hole in the disc brake cylinder.

  2. FILL RESERVOIR WITH BRAKE FLUID  (See BLEEDING  )
  3. BLEED BRAKE LINE  (See BLEEDING  )
  4. INSPECT FOR BRAKE FLUID LEAK 
  5. INSPECT BRAKE FLUID LEVEL IN RESERVOIR  (See BLEEDING  )
  6. INSTALL FRONT WHEEL 

    Torque: 103 N*m (1050 kgf*cm, 76 ft.*lbf)
