Radiator Grille: Disassembly

HINT:

When removing the emblem, heat the radiator grille and emblem using a heat light.

Standard 

TEMPERATURE SPECIFICATION

Item Temperature
Radiator Grille 20 to 30°C (68 to 86°F)
Emblem 20 to 30°C (68 to 86°F)
NOTE: Do not heat the radiator grille and emblem excessively.
  1. REMOVE UPPER RADIATOR SEAL 
    1. Detach the 14 clips and remove the radiator seal.

  2. REMOVE RADIATOR GRILLE (OR FRONT PANEL) EMBLEM 
    1. Put protective tape around the emblem.
    2. Insert a piano wire between the radiator grille and emblem.

      HINT:

      Be careful of the boss position.

    3. Tie objects that can serve as handles (for example, wooden blocks) to both wire ends. 
    4. Pull the piano wife and scrape off the double-sided tape that holds the emblem to the radiator grille. 
      NOTE: Be careful not to damage the radiator grille.
    5. Remove the emblem.
