Back Door Support: Removal

NOTE:

While holding the back door, remove the back door support.
Do not touch the extendable portion of the rod to prevent foreign objects from attaching to the rod surface.
Do not push sideways on the rod because the rod may bend.

HINT:

Use the same procedures for the RH side and LH side.
The procedures listed below are for the LH side.

REMOVE BACK DOOR STAY ASSEMBLY LH
1. Remove the 2 bolts and stay.
  CAUTION: Remove the door stay while supporting the back door with one hand.

2. Remove the bolt and stay.
  CAUTION: Remove the door stay while supporting the back door with one hand.
