Instrument Panel Speaker: Removal

HINT:

  1. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL 
  2. REMOVE NO. 1 SPEAKER OPENING COVER ASSEMBLY 
    1. Detach the 8 claws and remove the opening cover.

  3. REMOVE FRONT NO. 4 SPEAKER ASSEMBLY 
    1. Remove the 2 bolts.
    2. Remove the speaker and disconnect the speaker connector.
      NOTE: Do not touch the cone part of the speaker.
  4. REMOVE ASSIST GRIP SUB-ASSEMBLY  (See REMOVAL )
  5. REMOVE FRONT PILLAR GARNISH LH  (See REMOVAL )

  6. REMOVE NO. 1 INSTRUMENT PANEL SPEAKER PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY 
    1. Detach the 4 claws and remove the speaker panel.

  7. REMOVE FRONT NO. 2 SPEAKER ASSEMBLY 
    1. Remove the 2 bolts.
    2. Remove the speaker and disconnect the speaker connector.
      NOTE: Do not touch the cone part of the speaker.
