FRONT SEAT ASSEMBLY (for Power Seat): Disassembly

  1. REMOVE RECLINING POWER SEAT SWITCH KNOB 
    1. Using a screwdriver wrapped with protective tape, disengage the 2 claws and remove the reclining power seat switch knob.

  2. REMOVE SLIDE AND VERTICAL POWER SEAT SWITCH KNOB 
    1. Using a screwdriver wrapped with protective tape, disengage the 4 claws and remove the slide and vertical power seat switch knob.

  3. REMOVE FRONT SEAT CUSHION SHIELD ASSEMBLY 
    1. Disengage the hooks.

    2. Remove the 5 screws.
    3. Disengage the claw.
    4. Disengage the guide and remove the front seat cushion shield assembly.

    6. w/o Seat Cushion Front Edge Adjustment Function: Disconnect the connector from the front power seat lumbar switch.
    7. w/ Seat Cushion Front Edge Adjustment Function:
      1. Disconnect the connector from the front power seat lumbar switch and the seat variable cushion switch.
      2. Disengage each clamp.
  4. REMOVE FRONT INNER NO. 1 SEAT CUSHION SHIELD 
    1. Remove the 2 screws.
    2. Disengage the 2 claws and remove the front inner No. 1 seat cushion shield.

  5. REMOVE FRONT POWER SEAT LUMBAR SWITCH 
    1. Remove the 2 screws and the front power seat lumbar switch.

  6. REMOVE SEAT VARIABLE CUSHION SWITCH (w / Seat Cushion Front Edge Adjustment Function) 
    1. Remove the 2 screws and the seat variable cushion switch.

  7. REMOVE POWER SEAT SWITCH 
    1. Remove the 3 screws.
    2. Disconnect the connector and remove the power seat switch.

  8. REMOVE FRONT SEAT INNER BELT ASSEMBLY  (See REMOVAL )
  9. REMOVE FRONT SEAT CUSHION INNER SHIELD 
    1. Remove the screw.
    2. Disengage the claw.

    3. Disengage the guide and remove the front seat cushion inner shield as shown below.

  10. REMOVE FRONT SEAT CUSHION COVER WITH PAD (w/o Seat Cushion Front Edge Adjustment Function) 
    1. Disengage the hooks.
    2. Disengage the 2 clamps.

    4. w/ Seat Heater System:
      1. Disengage each clamp of the seat heater wire harness.
      2. Disconnect the seat heater connector.
    5. Using a clip remover, remove the 2 clips.
    6. Disengage the hooks and remove the front seat cushion cover with pad as shown below.

  11. REMOVE FRONT SEAT CUSHION COVER WITH PAD (w/ Seat Cushion Front Edge Adjustment Function) 
    1. Disengage the 4 clamps.
    2. Disengage the hooks.
    3. Disconnect the 2 connectors.

    5. Using a clip remover, remove the 2 clips

    6. Disengage the hooks as shown below.
    7. Disengage the hook as shown below.

    8. Remove the 4 hog rings and the front seat cushion cover with pad.

  12. REMOVE SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEAT CUSHION COVER (w/o Seat Cushion Front Edge Adjustment Function) 
    1. Remove the 6 hog rings.

    2. Remove the 11 hog rings and the separate type front seat cushion cover.

  13. REMOVE SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEAT CUSHION COVER (w/ Seat Cushion Front Edge Adjustment Function) 
    1. Remove the 2 hog rings.

    2. Remove the 15 hog rings and the separate type front seat cushion cover.

  14. REMOVE FRONT SEATBACK COVER WITH PAD 
    1. Remove the 3 hog rings.

    2. Remove the 5 hog rings.

    3. Disengage the 2 hooks.

    4. Turn back the separate type front seatback cover to remove the nut, and separate the bracket of the separate type front seatback cover.

    5. Disengage the 4 claws and remove the 2 front seat headrest supports.
    6. Remove the separate type front seatback cover with pad from the front seat frame assembly with adjuster.

  15. REMOVE SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEATBACK COVER 
    1. Remove the 7 hog rings and the separate type front seatback cover.

  16. REMOVE LUMBAR SUPPORT ADJUSTER ASSEMBLY 
    1. Disconnect the connector.
    2. Remove the 2 screws and the lumbar support adjuster assembly.

    3. Remove the bush.

  17. REMOVE LUMBAR SUPPORT MOTOR ASSEMBLY 
    1. Remove the 4 screws and the lumbar support motor assembly.

  18. REMOVE ACTIVE HEADREST UPPER UNIT 
    1. Remove the nut and disconnect the cable from the active headrest upper unit as shown below.
    2. Remove the 4 nuts and the active headrest upper unit.

  19. REMOVE ACTIVE HEADREST LOWER UNIT 
    1. Remove the 4 nuts and the active headrest lower unit.

  20. REMOVE RECLINING ADJUSTER INSIDE COVER LH 
    1. Remove the screw.
    2. Disengage the clamp.
    3. Disengage the guide and remove the reclining adjuster inside cover LH.

  21. REMOVE RECLINING ADJUSTER INSIDE COVER LH 
    1. Remove the screw and the reclining adjuster inside cover LH.

  22. REMOVE RECLINING ADJUSTER INSIDE COVER RH 
    1. Remove the screw.
    2. Disengage the clamp.
    3. Disengage the guide and remove the reclining adjuster inside cover RH.

  23. REMOVE RECLINING ADJUSTER INSIDE COVER RH 

    Remove the screw and the reclining adjuster inside cover RH.

  24. REMOVE FRONT SEAT LOWER CUSHION SHIELD LH 
    1. Remove the screw.
    2. Disengage the hook as shown below.
    3. Disengage the guide and remove the front seat lower cushion shield LH.

  25. REMOVE FRONT SEAT LOWER CUSHION SHIELD RH 
    1. Remove the screw.
    2. Disengage the hook as shown below.
    3. Disengage the guide and remove the front seat lower cushion shield RH.

  26. REMOVE FRONT SEAT WIRE (w/o Seat Cushion Front Edge Adjustment Function) 
    1. Disengage the 2 clamps.
    2. Disconnect the connector.

    3. w/o Seat Heater System:
      1. Disengage the 4 clamps.
      2. Disengage the 2 claws.
      3. Disconnect the 4 connectors and remove the front seat wire.

    4. w/ Seat Heater System:
      1. Disengage the 4 clamps.
      2. Disengage the 2 claws.
      3. Disconnect the 5 connectors and remove the front seat wire.

  27. REMOVE FRONT SEAT WIRE (w/ Seat Cushion Front Edge Adjustment Function) 
    1. Disengage the 2 clamps.
    2. Disconnect the connector.

    3. w/o Seat Heater System:
      1. Disengage the 4 clamps.
      2. Disengage the 2 claws.
      3. Disconnect the 5 connectors and remove the front seat wire.

    4. w/ Seat Heater System:
      1. Disengage the 4 clamps.
      2. Disengage the 2 claws.
      3. Disconnect the 6 connectors and remove the front seat wire.

  28. REMOVE SEAT HEATER CONTROL SUB-ASSEMBLY (w/ Seat Heater System) 
    1. Disengage the 2 clamps and remove the seat heater control sub-assembly.

  29. REMOVE SEAT POSITION SENSOR  (See REMOVAL )
  30. REMOVE OCCUPANT CLASSIFICATION ECU (for Front Passenger Side)  (See REMOVAL )
