Back Door Opener Switch: Inspection

  1. INSPECT BACK DOOR OPENER SWITCH ASSEMBLY 
    1. Check operation of the opener switch.
      1. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

        Standard resistance 

        TESTER CONNECTION SPECIFIED CONDITION TABLE

        Tester Connection Switch Position Specified Condition
        2 - 3 Back door opener switch not pushed (OFF) 10 kΩ or higher
        2 - 3 Back door opener switch pushed (ON) Below 1 Ω

        If the result is not specified, replace the back door opener switch assembly.

    2. Check operation of the lock switch (w/ Smart Key System).
      1. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

        Standard resistance 

        TESTER CONNECTION SPECIFIED CONDITION TABLE

        Tester Connection Switch Position Specified Condition
        1 - 2 Back door lock switch not pushed (OFF) 10 kΩ or higher
        1 - 2 Back door lock switch pushed (ON) Below 1 Ω

        If the result is not specified, replace the back door opener switch assembly.
