Front Brake Pad, Brake Caliper & Brake Rotor: Installation

  1. INSTALL DISC BRAKE CYLINDER ASSEMBLY 
    1. Hold the front disc brake cylinder slide pins and install the disc brake cylinder assembly with the 2 bolts.

      Torque: 34 N*m (347 kgf*cm, 25 ft.*lbf) 

      NOTE: Be sure that the anti-squeal springs are installed to the front disc brake pads.

  2. CONNECT FRONT FLEXIBLE HOSE 
    1. Connect the front flexible hose with the union bolt and a new gasket to the disc brake cylinder assembly.

      Torque: 30 N*m (306 kgf*cm, 22 ft.*lbf) 

      NOTE: Install the front flexible hose lock securely in the lock hole in the disc brake cylinder assembly.

  3. FILL BRAKE FLUID RESERVOIR  (See ON-VEHICLE INSPECTION  )
  4. BLEED BRAKE LINE  (See ON-VEHICLE INSPECTION  )
  5. BLEED BRAKE ACTUATOR  (See ON-VEHICLE INSPECTION  )
  6. INSPECT FLUID LEVEL  (See ON-VEHICLE INSPECTION  )
  7. INSPECT FOR BRAKE FLUID LEAK 
  8. INSTALL FRONT WHEEL 

    Torque: 103 N*m (1050 kgf*cm, 76 ft.*lbf)
