Light Control Rheostat: Inspection
- INSPECT LIGHT CONTROL RHEOSTAT
- Disconnect the connector from the light control rheostat.
- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard resistance
TESTER CONNECTION SPECIFIED CONDITION TABLETester Connection Condition Specified Condition D4-1 (E) - D4-3 (RV) Turn the light control rheostat knob fully downwards Below 1 Ω D4-1 (E) - D4-3 (RV) Turn the light control rheostat knob downwards to upwards The value changes gradually (Between 1 to 8 kΩ) D4-1 (E) - D4-3 (RV) Turn the light control rheostat knob fully upwards 8 to 12 kΩ D4-5 (TC) - D4-7 (T) Turn the light control rheostat knob fully upwards (Tail cancel ON) 8 kΩ or higher D4-5 (TC) - D4-7 (T) Turn the light control rheostat knob fully downwards Below 1 Ω Courtesy of © TOYOTA, LICENSE AGREEMENT TMS1002
