Brake Pedal: Inspection

  1. INSPECT STOP LIGHT SWITCH ASSEMBLY 
    1. Measure the resistance of the switch.

      Standard resistance 

      TESTER CONNECTION AND SPECIFIED CONDITION

      Tester Connection Switch Condition Specified Condition
      1 - 2 Switch pin released Below 1
      1 - 2 Switch pin pushed in 10 k or higher

      If the result is not as specified, replace the stop light switch assembly.
