Inspection Procedure

- CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (MOMENTARY INTERRUPTION)
- Using the DATA LIST of the intelligent tester, check for any momentary interruption in the wire harness corresponding to the DTC (see CHECK FOR INTERMITTENT PROBLEMS ).
Skid control ECU

HINT:
Perform the above inspection before removing the sensor and connector.

OK: GO TO NEXT STEP.

- CHECK DTC FOR ENGINE CONTROL SYSTEM
- Clear the DTC (engine control system).
- Check the DTC (engine control system).

B: REPLACE ECM
A: REPAIR ENGINE CONTROL SYSTEM
- REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (ECM - SKID CONTROL ECU)
- RECONFIRM DTC
- Clear the DTC (see DTC CHECK / CLEAR ).
- Perform a road test.
- Check if the same DTC is recorded (see DTC CHECK / CLEAR ).
