Roof Drip Side Finish Molding: Installation

NOTE: Do not heat the clip and vehicle body excessively.

HINT:

Use the same procedures for the RH side and LH side.
The procedures listed below are for the LH side.
When installing the clip, heat the clip and vehicle body using a heat light.

Standard heating temperature

STANDARD HEATING TEMPERATURE

Item	Temperature
Clip	20 to 30°C (68 to 86°F)
Vehicle Body	40 to 60°C (104 to 140°F)

INSTALL NO. 2 ROOF DRIP SIDE FINISH MOLDING CLIP
If the No. 2 roof drip side finish molding clip is accidentally removed.
1. Using a heat light, heat the body mounting surface.
  NOTE: Do not heat the vehicle body excessively.
2. Remove the adhesive tape and adhesive from the body.
3. Wipe off stains with cleaner.
4. Using a heat light, heat the body and clip.
  NOTE: Do not heat the vehicle body and clip excessively.
5. Install the clip.
REMOVE NO. 2 ROOF DRIP SIDE FINISH MOLDING CENTER LH
1. Install the 3 finish molding centers to the roof drip side finish molding.
