Inspection Procedure

  1. INSPECT BATTERY 
    1. Measure the voltage of the battery.

      Standard voltage: 11 to 14 V 

    • NG: RECHARGE OR REPLACE BATTERY 
    • OK: GO TO NEXT STEP 
  2. INSPECT ERROR OF CLOCK 
    1. Check that the clock adjusting button is sticking in position and has failed to return.
    2. Inspect the error of the clock.

      OK: Allowable error (per day) is +- 1.5 seconds. 

    • NG: REPLACE MULTI-DISPLAY 
    • OK: GO TO NEXT STEP 
  3. CHECK WIRE HARNESS (MULTI-DISPLAY - BATTERY) 
    1. Disconnect the M9 display connector.
    2. Measure the voltage of the wire harness side connector.

      Standard voltage 

      MULTI-DISPLAY - BATTERY

       
      Tester Connection      		 Condition Specified Condition
      M9-9 (+B) - Body ground Always 10 to 14 V
      M9- 10 (ACC) - Body ground Ignition switch ACC 10 to 14 V

    • NG: REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS AND CONNECTOR 
    • OK: REPLACE MULTI-DISPLAY OR ADJUST CLOCK
